Claude Can Talk About Photoshop. Sekondo Says It Can Work There.

Ask an AI how to change a Photoshop file and it can give you a convincing set of instructions. The awkward part is still yours: opening the layers, making the edits and checking the result.

Sekondo proposes to cross that last gap. The Spanish company says its plugin connects Claude Code or ChatGPT through Codex to a panel inside six Adobe applications: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro and Lightroom Classic.

The distinction is the file it touches. Sekondo says it works in the open document, keeping text, layers and styles editable, instead of handing back a flattened image or a separate mock-up.

Its own demos show the kind of work it has in mind: retouching a jewellery catalogue after a designer handles the first photo, building an Illustrator brand manual and translating an InDesign brochure while preserving its layout. These are producer-made, edited demonstrations, not independent tests of the shipping plugin.

That makes the proposition interesting without making its performance a settled fact. A useful creative assistant would need to understand the structure of a real project, leave judgment calls to the designer and make changes that are easy to inspect and undo. Sekondo says it does those things; I have not installed the plugin or verified the results on my own files.

There is also a practical question behind the local-workflow claim. Sekondo says the Adobe panel talks to a bridge on the user’s computer and that the company does not receive the documents. It also says the assistant receives the instructions and the parts of a document needed for a job under the user’s own Claude or ChatGPT arrangement. Anyone working with client material should check those data flows against their own requirements.

As of 29 September, Sekondo’s pricing page describes a free claim for one of 200 founder seats, with delivery in waves in October 2026 and billing only when the software arrives. The advertised founder prices are €12 a month for one Adobe app, €19 for three and €29 for all six, excluding VAT. The listed later prices are €15, €29 and €47 respectively. The founder rate is described as lasting while the subscription remains active; cancelling and returning later loses it. A separate Claude or ChatGPT subscription is required.

The site also advertises a 30-day refund after the first payment. I could verify the published terms, but not how many founder seats remain or how the product performs outside its own demonstrations. Check the current price and delivery terms before reserving.

For now, Sekondo is best read as a promising attempt to make an assistant act on the working file, with the important evidence still to come when people can use it in their own Adobe projects.
